“Dance Africa” as the name implies is a platform that unites all lovers of Afrobeats and all music of African origin together. Dance Afrique serves the best of Afrobeat live performance  from all across Africa and the rest of the world to her teeming audience,  presenting the best of African music and artists to the world on a phenomenal platform.


Dance Afrique maiden edition took place on the 9th of October 2014 at the Meydan Racecourse, Dubai;till date, it remains the biggest afrobeats concert in the Middle East. It featured heavy weights from across Africa like PSQUARE and FLAVOUR from Nigeria, FUSEODG from Ghana/Uk, and MAFIKIZOLO from South Africa. 

On the wheels of steel were DJ Edu from Kenya/UK and Abrantee from Ghana/UK. The host was the world famous Congolese born Uk-based comedian, Eddie Kadi and the show recorded the biggest gathering of Africans, Emiratis and other nationals ever for an African concert in the whole of the UAE with a whooping crowd of over 4000 attendees.


Due to the huge success of the maiden edition, Dance Afrique headed for the United Kingdom…the heart of Europe. DANCE AFRIQUE LONDON took place on the 28th of March, 2015 at The SSE Arena, Wembley. 

The concert again featured the best from the African continent with Live performances from the legends such as  AWILO LOGOMBA and PSQUARE. FLAVOUR from Nigeria also added some “flavour” by surprising the audience by inviting Africa’s queen TIWA SAVAGE to perform “oyi” remix. 

Africa’s dancehall king SHATTA WALE from Ghana wasn’t left out as he wowed the crowd with his energetic performance.

Dance Afrique is not slowing down as it is set to take the concert to every continent in the world to promote the richness and beauty of Afrobeat, with live performances by seasoned artist of African origin and affiliation from all around the world.
